Capital Campaign for Lehman Catholic High School

Lehman Catholic's Mission and Vision

A Defining Moment…

Thirty-eight years ago, Catholic education in the northern most part of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati was at a major crossroad. At the time, several schools were consolidated or closed due to increased operating expenses and aging facilities. Through the efforts of local lay and religious leaders working with then Archbishop of Cincinnati Joseph Bernardin, Lehman Catholic was founded in 1970 to preserve and advance the tradition of Catholic education, unifying the proud traditions and missions of its predecessor schools.

Today, Lehman Catholic serves families in the six northernmost counties of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Lehman is the only Catholic high school north of Dayton in the Archdiocese.

The Vision…

The vision is clear. Lehman Catholic’s purpose, as a Catholic school and a vital part of the teaching mission of the Church, is to provide an excellent academic education rooted in the authentic teaching of the Catholic faith. Lehman Catholic High School has a well-earned reputation for strong academic and extracurricular programs that prepare students for further study and successful careers. In order to provide future generations the gift of a Catholic education, the Trustees of Lehman Catholic’s Board of Limited Jurisdiction (school board) took a bold step in response to the planning recommendations and has launched Secure the Future, A Capital Campaign for Lehman Catholic High School.
